Why no app?
PDF apps often want a subscription, show ads or ask for broad permissions. For a quick fix, a signature or a form, the browser is enough. Nothing is installed and the PDF never leaves your phone.
What works especially well on a phone
- Signing with your finger — often neater than with a mouse.
- Filling forms — fields zoom in when tapped.
- Quick corrections to text, dates or amounts.
Tips for small screens
- Pinch to zoom for precise placement.
- Swipe the toolbar sideways to reach all tools.
- To reorder many pages, use Organize PDF with its drag handle.
Tips
- Multi-line paragraphs are edited as a whole and re-wrap automatically as you type.
- Undo any step with ⌘Z / Ctrl+Z and download with ⌘S.
- Scanned pages contain no text — run them through OCR first.
