Three ways to sign
| Method | Best for |
|---|---|
| Draw | Touchscreens or drawing tablets — looks most natural. |
| Type | Quick on a laptop; your name appears in a handwriting-style font. |
| Upload a photo | Photograph your signature on white paper — the background becomes transparent automatically. |
Is such a signature valid?
An inserted signature is a simple electronic signature. For many everyday documents — order confirmations, delivery authorizations, registrations — that is accepted in practice. Where the law requires a handwritten signature on paper or a qualified electronic signature, it isn’t sufficient; requirements differ by country and document type.
Tips
- When you upload a photo of your signature, the paper background becomes transparent automatically.
- Your last signature is stored only on your device and can be deleted at any time.
- This is a simple electronic signature; qualified signatures require a certified provider.
