Merge PDFs without installing software

You don’t need Acrobat or any other program: upload the PDFs above, drag them into the right order and click “Merge PDFs”. Merging happens right in your browser — on Windows, Mac, Linux, tablets and phones.

or drag and dropPDF

Your files never leave your device — everything runs locally in your browser.

How it works

  1. 1

    Select files

Pick several PDFs at once or add them one by one.

  2. 2

    Sort them

Set the order by dragging or with the arrows.

  3. 3

    Merge

One click creates a single PDF with all pages.

  4. 4

    Save

The finished file lands in your downloads folder.

Why no software?

If you only combine files now and then, you don’t want to buy or install a program — and on work computers installing is often not allowed anyway. A browser tool works instantly everywhere. Unlike many online services, the files here aren’t uploaded to a server but assembled locally, which is faster and safer for confidential documents.

What is preserved

  • Text stays searchable and copyable — pages are not re-rendered.
  • Images keep their full quality.
  • Page sizes are kept: A4, Letter and landscape pages can be mixed.

Built-in alternatives

On a Mac, Preview can move pages between PDFs, and on an iPhone the Files app can combine files into a PDF. Both are a bit fiddly for many files — the tool above lets you see and sort everything at a glance. To remove or rotate single pages afterwards, use Organize PDF.

Tips

  • Pages are copied without re-encoding — quality, text and links are preserved.
  • Too large to email? Shrink the result with Compress PDF.
  • To reorder or delete individual pages, use Organize PDF.

Frequently asked questions

How many PDFs can I merge?

There’s no fixed limit; your device’s memory is the only constraint. Dozens of files are usually fine.

Is a watermark added?

No. The result contains only your pages.

Does it work with password-protected PDFs?

No, unlock them first — you need the password.
