Ideas for analysis

- Build monthly spending categories with a pivot table.

Before you start
Many banks also offer a CSV export in online banking, which is usually the most reliable data source. The PDF route helps when only PDF statements are available, for example for older periods.
Bank statements contain sensitive data. This conversion runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded. To share statements, redact them first.
Tips
- Tables are detected from text alignment — clear columns give the best results.
- English and German number formats are recognized, including € and %.
- Run scanned tables through OCR first.
