Rotate a PDF and save it rotated
Many PDF viewers only rotate a page on screen — the next time you open the file, it’s sideways again. Here you rotate pages permanently: upload the PDF, rotate the affected pages with the arrow icons, save. The rotation is stored in the file.

Your files never leave your device — everything runs locally in your browser.
How it works
- 1
Upload the PDF
All pages are shown as previews.
- 2
Rotate pages
Use the icons below each page to rotate 90° left or right.
- 3
All at once
Select several pages and rotate them together.
- 4
Save
Download the PDF — the rotation is now permanent.
Why rotating in the viewer often isn’t enough
Browsers and many PDF readers offer a rotate button that only changes the current view. It often can’t be saved — or only in expensive programs. The recipient then sees the sideways pages again.
Lossless rotation
Rotating only changes the page orientation stored in the PDF. Text, images and fonts stay untouched — the file doesn’t get larger or blurrier, and text remains searchable.
Typical cases
- Landscape tables scanned in portrait.
- Phone photos of documents saved as PDF.
- Single upside-down pages in a batch scan.
Tips
- Keyboard: Delete removes the selection, ⌘/Ctrl + arrow moves pages, ⌘/Ctrl + Z undoes.
- On a phone, move pages with the handle on each tile.
- Even large PDFs with 100+ pages can be sorted smoothly.
