Common reasons to remove pages
- Blank backsides after a double-sided scan.
- Advertising or cover sheets in invoices and statements.
- Pages the recipient shouldn’t see.
- Pages that were scanned twice.
Deleting isn’t redacting
If only part of a page is confidential — say an account number — you don’t have to delete the whole page. Redact PDF permanently removes individual details from the file.
The other way round
If you only want to keep a few pages of a long document, Split PDF is faster: just enter the pages you need, e.g. “2-4, 9”.
Tips
- Keyboard: Delete removes the selection, ⌘/Ctrl + arrow moves pages, ⌘/Ctrl + Z undoes.
- On a phone, move pages with the handle on each tile.
- Even large PDFs with 100+ pages can be sorted smoothly.
